Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, ready all the ingredients. Mash the leftover potatoes.Peel 2 big onions and separate the rings. Mix all ingredients into the mashed leftover potatoes.
* Step 2
Line a tray with butter paper. Grease little oil on palms and fill the rings with the leftover potatoes mixture, with a small cheese cubelet inside. Cover and place the rings in fridge for 1 hour in the fridge to set well.
* Step 3
Make a slurry with maida, cornflour, salt, chilli flakes, pepper powder, oregano, parsley and water. Dip the leftover potato onion rings in the slurry and coat with dry bread crumbs.
* Step 4
Do this coating process twice for a crispy outer layer. Fry immediately.
* Step 5
Fry in hot oil on medium fast gas only. Else the rings will get oily. A lip smacking starter using the LEFTOVER POTATOES is ready.
* Step 6
Enjoy with family and friends.
Happy cooking.
