Peanut Sesame Seeds Chikki

This chikki is made with roasted peanuts, sesame, jaggery, ghee, and a hint of cardamom powder. This delicious treat is so easy, you can make it

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
👉Grease plate and set aside.
* Step 2
👉Dry roast the peanuts on medium heat stirring continuously for about 6 to 7 minutes until golden brown.
* Step 3
👉Remove from the pan. Let it cool off. Rub between your palms and remove most of the skin. Lightly crush the peanuts.
* Step 4
👉Dry roast Sesame Seeds in low flame for about 4-5 minutes. Keep aside.
* Step 5
👉In a heavy bottom sauce pan, melt the butter on medium high flame, then add jaggery and salt.
* Step 6
👉Keep stirring the jaggery continuously till jaggery start melting and changing the color to brown. Turn off the heat as soon it melts completely. B Note: when jaggery starts melting it gets thickness very quickly and it can easily become hard.
* Step 7
👉Add peanuts quickly and 1/2 of Sesame Seeds and stir quickly. Pour over the greased plate and spread evenly.
* Step 8
👉 Immediately sprinkle remaining Sesame Seeds over it.
* Step 9
👉Cool for a few minutes. The chikki should be warm, and cut them in about 1-1/2 inch square.
* Step 10
👉Store them in an air tight container.
