Jeera rice is a quick preparation of rice flavoured with cumin seeds. It is easy and can bd prepared in cooker.
Ingredient

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and Soak rice in water for 10 minutes.
* Step 2
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put bay leaf and 5 black pepper seeds, 4 cloves, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 bay leaf and saute for 30 seconds.
* Step 3
Add chopped onion and cook till golden. Add rice and saute for 30 seconds. Add salt and red chilli powder.
* Step 4
Add water and place the lid and cook for 2 whistles. Switch off the flame and let pressure releases automatically.
* Step 5
Open the lid and remove bay leaf and discard it..
* Step 6
Serve hot with rajma curry.
