Sweet potato Tikki

Sweet potato tikki is easy to make and makes a great snack for evening. It is great to make for get-together or for guests too, I prepare the dough well ahead and then make the patties and fry them whenever needed. It is also eaten on fasting days as snack.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash, boil and peel sweetpotato. Mash it thorougly with a fork.
* Step 2
Cut bread slices in small pieces and transfer it in a mixer. Grind it to a fine break crumbs powder.
* Step 3
Now add bread crumbs in mashed sweet-potato. Add salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala, turmeric powder and garam masala and mix well.
* Step 4
Make it like a dough. Divide the dough in 4 equal parts.
* Step 5
Shape it round like a tikki. Like wise make all the tikkis.
* Step 6
Heat a non-stick griddle and put two spoon cooking oil. Place all 4 tikkis on it and shallow fry till crispie golden brown colour. Flip the side and fry from other side also.
* Step 7
Serve hot with Tomato ketchup.
