Sweet potato Tikki

#thc #thcweek9 #Sweetpotato Sweet potato tikki is easy to make and makes a great snack for evening. It is great to make for get-together or for guests too, I prepare the dough well ahead and then make the patties and fry them whenever needed. It is also eaten on fasting days as snack.

Ingredient

20 minutes
400 gm

sweetpotato

to taste

Salt

1/4 tsp

garam masala

1/4 tsp

chaat masala

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash, boil and peel sweetpotato. Mash it thorougly with a fork.

Cut bread slices in small pieces and transfer it in a mixer. Grind it to a fine break crumbs powder.

* Step 3

Now add bread crumbs in mashed sweet-potato. Add salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala, turmeric powder and garam masala and mix well.

* Step 4

Make it like a dough. Divide the dough in 4 equal parts.

Shape it round like a tikki. Like wise make all the tikkis.

Heat a non-stick griddle and put two spoon cooking oil. Place all 4 tikkis on it and shallow fry till crispie golden brown colour. Flip the side and fry from other side also.

* Step 7

Serve hot with Tomato ketchup.
