Osso buco alla milanese
This is tradionally made from veal and served in one of two ways. Either with risotto alla milanese (see my recipe) or with Gremolada (see my recipe). My husband doesn't like it with risotto so I've made it with Gremolada and potatoes 😄 #italian #meat #dinner #mainmeal
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and dry meat. Melt butter and oil in a pan
* Step 2
Dust meat in flour, shake off excess. Add to pan and brown on both sides.
* Step 3
Add wine and let it evaporate and then add stock and season to taste. Cover and simmer for about 40 minutes on lowest heat turning a few times during cooking. Serve with risotto alla milanese or Gremolada and potatoes 😊
