Fish Ball Dipping Sauce

Street vendors in the Philippines use this type of sauce as an all-purpose dip for things like fish balls, squid balls, kikiam, kwek-kwek (fried and breaded boiled quail eggs) etc. If you want a sweet and spicy version add a few sliced labuyo chillies. 🇵🇭

Ingredient

water

soy sauce

vinegar

2 tbsp

flour

4 tbsp

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a small saucepan mix all the ingredients thoroughly.

Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes
