Uchhe Posto is a very classic recipe from Bengal’s Kitchen. One would start eating with Uchhe Posto when Shukto is not there.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and peel the vegetables. Cut into lengths and deseed the Uchhe. Steam them
* Step 2
In a wok heat mustard oil and add nigella seeds. Add steamed Uchhe and fry golden. Add potatoes and fry together
* Step 3
In a bowl add Posto with green chilli and turmeric powder. Add to the fried vegetable. Mix well
* Step 4
Add water and cover to cook.
* Step 5
When the consistency is dry set aside
* Step 6
Serve with steamed rice and enjoy 😊
