Ingredient

Food ration :

5-6 servings

Cooking time :

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-50 mins
2 Tbsp

milk powder

1/2 cup

Jhola Gur

1 ltr

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pan add milk and bring it to boil. Add lime juice and let the milk cuddle which would be 5 mins. Switch off the flame and add the curdled milk on a strainer and placing a clean cloth on it and a bowl beneath. Add water to get rid off the sour smell of lime. Let it drain for 10 mins

Place the Chena on a plate and add milk powder. Knead with the heel of your palm and make a soft yet smooth dough

Make small balls of Chena

* Step 4

In a pan add water and add Khejur Gur and Jhola Gur, bring it to boil. Add the Chena balls. Cover to cook for 20 mins.

Set aside

* Step 6

Plate and enjoy hot or cold as it’s equally tasty both hot and cold
