Okra Yogurt curry

#CR Okra is such a household vegetable and people enjoy having Okra’s in fried form or steamed or Pakode or curry. I made a yogurt base curry

Ingredient

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-30 mins

Besan

1.5 cups

yogurt

1 sprig

curry leaves

4 Tbsp

oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pan heat 2 Tbsp oil, add okra’s and add turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt, mix and fry for 6-7 mins on low flame, set aside

* Step 2

In a bowl add yogurt, Besan, and turmeric powder and whisk well, add 3 cups water and mix well, set aside

* Step 3

In a wok heat rest of the oil, and add mustard seeds, when it splutters add fenugreek seeds, chopped green chilies, chopped ginger, whole red chilies, and curry leaves, and stir for 2 mins.

* Step 4

Add chopped onions and cook until translucent, add salt, add the curry and mix well, cook on low flame for 10 mins, set aside

* Step 5

To plate - add the Curry to a serving bowl, add fried Okra and drizzle Chilli oil, serve with Rice
