#ws2 Dhuska is a very popular cuisine from Jharkhand state of India. Can be eaten anytime and is made at home as well as sold as street food.

Ingredient

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-24h30mins
2 cups

Chana Dal

1 cup

rice

3/4 cup

water

as per taste

Salt

as required

Oil to fry

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak rice and Dal separately overnight. Drain and add to a blender

* Step 2

Add green chillies, ginger, garlic and salt, water. Blend well. The batter should not be too thick or thin

* Step 3

Add chopped onions, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chopped coriander leaves, salt to the batter and mix well.

* Step 4

In a pan heat oil and take a ladle of the batter and gently add, keep flame on low, the Dhuska will swell. With another ladle flip sides once golden in colour. Fry the other side and set aside. Complete the batch

* Step 5

Plate with any vegetable. I ate with Aloo Chana sabji. Enjoy
