Ingredient

Food ration :

4-6 people

Cooking time :

20 minutes
1/4 Teaspoon

Salt

1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric powder

1/2 cup

Jaggery

1/4 teaspoon

DRY COCONUT

1/4 teaspoon

Cardamom powder

1/4 teaspoon

Nutmeg powder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a bowl, mix together flour, salt, and turmeric. Add water and knead a soft dough. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

* Step 2

In a pan, roast til or sesame seeds on lowest flame for 2-3 minutes. Remove in a plate and let it cool completely. Grind coarsely. Now roast dry coconut and add jaggery on low flame. roasted peanuts and grind into fine powder. Add all the ingredients to the jagger mixture and mix together well.

* Step 3

Now make small lime size balls of the dough. Take one ball and use finger tips to make a bowl.

* Step 4

Heat a pan. Cook the gul Poli from both the sides until golden brown. Add a few ghee drops all over.

* Step 5

Repeat with the remaining dough and stuffing.
