Mangalore cucumber huli(sambhar)

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

For masala heat oil add coriander seeds,jeera,methi seeds,urad dal and fry till urad dal and coriander seeds turn slightly golden,add red chilly fry for a while then add curry leaves for fry for a while cool it and grind it with coconut and hing adding little water.

Boil cucumber in sufficient water with tamarind pulp and jagarry till soft.

* Step 3

When cucumber becomes soft add cooked toor dal, prepared masala give it a nice mix add salt and let it boil for a while.

* Step 4

Prepare tadka with oil, mustard seeds, chilly, curry leaves,add to huli mix it. Mangalore cucumber huli is ready to serve with hot rice and ghee.
