Low calorie stir fry kway teow
Stir fry kway teow is a famous dish in Singapore, one of the highest calorie hawker food which you can pamper yourself occasionally. The original recipe has egg, sweet dark sauce, Chinese sausage, and cockles. It's very difficult to duplicate it at home because lack of wok hey that gives it the unique flavor. Kway teow is the Chinese dialect name for the flat ribbon shaped white rice noodles with a width of the thumb.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cut fish cake to thick slice.
* Step 2
Rinse bean sprouts. Drain and leave aside.
* Step 3
Rinse chives. Cut into one inch length.
* Step 5
Heat up 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in the frying pan with high heat. Stir fry kway teow for about 1 minute to give it a "warm up". Then remove from heat and leave aside.
* Step 6
Heat up 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in the frying pan with medium heat. Fry garlic for half minute.
* Step 7
Add fish cake. Stir fry with the garlic for 1 minute.
* Step 9
Add about 3 tablespoons of dark soya sauce. Mix evenly. You can use sweet dark sauce if you like sweet but it will increase the calories.
* Step 10
Add bean sprouts and chives. Add 100ml water. Mix evenly until dry up.
* Step 11
Ready to serve. Sprinkle some chilli pepper if you need some spicy flavor.
