Stuffed Ampalaya

I'm not fond of eating bitter gourd, my mom tricked us by stuffing it with minced meat and she succeeded.. the bitter taste is lessen. And this is one of my fav now.

Ingredient

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Prepare all vegies, cut ampalaya 3 inches cylindrical, remove seeds. Chopped potato, carrots, onion.

* Step 2

Boil ampalaya until half cook or as preferred, once done remove from water and set aside.

* Step 3

Sautė garlic and onion.

* Step 4

Add minced chicken and cook until brown, add little water if necessary.

* Step 5

Add vegies (potato and carrot). Add raisins.

* Step 6

Season with salt and pepper. Simmer until vegies are done.

* Step 7

Stuffed the pre boiled ampalaya with chicken mix.

* Step 8

Dip in beaten egg then fry all sides.
