Turmeric Brown Rice

Turmeric Brown Rice

This is a mixture of short grain sweet and jasmine brown rices. With veggie bouillon and turmeric powder. Mixed witn green onions.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add a little bit olive oil to a pan and set on medium high

* Step 2

Once pan heats up add rice stir constantly (avoid burning) until you get a nice little toast on the rice. About 2 to 3 minutes.

* Step 3

Add the seasonings and green onions, still stirring constantly about another minute or two.

* Step 4

Add water, then lower heat to simmer. Stir one last time and cover.

* Step 5

Simmer for about 10 to 20 depending on what rice you use. I check constantly, and stir when I do. Only because I like my rice a certain way.
