Fried Modak

Ingredient

Food ration :

serves 4 servin

Cooking time :

1 hour
2 bowls

wheat flour

1 1/2 bowl

grated coconut

1 bowl

Jaggery

As needed

Oil for frying

Pinch

salt

As needed

Milk and water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In one pan add coconut and Jaggery mix well and cook till Jaggery completely.

* Step 2

Mix with coconut. Add cardomom powder.

* Step 3

Let it cool

* Step 4

Now take wheat flour add gradually mixture of water and milk 1:1 proportion. Make medium soft dough

* Step 5

Roll medium thick chapati and with cookie cutter make small round shaped puris

Now stuff above coconut mixture in each puri and prepare Madaks.

Heat oil in kadai. Add oil on medium to high flame fry Modaks till golden brown.add some ghee and just dig in.very tasty recipe 😍
