Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First cook turdal in pressure cooker
* Step 2
Let it cool, cut onion and tomato.
* Step 3
In pan heat 2/3teaspoons of oil.let it heat properly now add cumin and mustard seeds.let it splutter now and finely chopped onion fry it till light brown
* Step 4
Add tomato turmeric, finely chopped ginger,garlic fry all till brown colour appears.add curry leaves and asefoetida.
* Step 5
Now put cooked turdal to it mix well
* Step 6
Add red chilli powder, garam masala,salt to it
* Step 7
Add water to adjust the consistency.cover it.give nice boil.
* Step 8
Heat tadaka pan and some butter or oil to it.add cumin seeds, finely chopped garlic and dry red chillies.put the tadaka on hot dal.and serve with steam or jeera rice.
