Smoked Sausage and Prawn Paella

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat olive oil in a heavy pan.

* Step 2

Saute the onions until golden.

* Step 3

Add the peppers and the garlic and sauté for another 2-3 minutes

* Step 4

Add the sausage, broad beans, rice, some salt, 2 cups of water (or ham/chicken stock) and saffron water.

* Step 5

Bring to the boil then cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

* Step 6

Remove lid, turn off the heat and throw in the peas and the drained defrosted prawns. Stir gently, season, stir again.

* Step 7

Leave to stand for 5 minutes.

* Step 8

Season and stir.

* Step 9

Serve.
