Chargrilled Octopus

Classic Greek dish...for anyone who has never tried octopus. ..when cooked it is firm chewable texture...not slimy...delicious toeat a piece with a bite of bread

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 servings

Cooking time :

1 hour
1/4 cup

olive oil

6 clove

garlic

1/4 tsp

sea salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

put octopus in pot of boiling water for 20 minutes...shut flame and let sit for another 20 minutes

* Step 2

take out of pot & cut off legs as close to head as possible

* Step 3

remove any loose skin with hand & wash under water

* Step 4

slice up legs into half inch pieces

* Step 5

put into bowl...with olive oil ..minced garlic & salt & let marinade for up to hour

* Step 6

place on grill on high flames for a couple minutes on each side

* Step 7

put in bowl & squeeze fresh lemon & serve with italian bread
