Shokupan Polish Bread (Closed Lid Version)

I’ve been into baking bread for the past few months. It seems to be more fun than cooking only 😁😃 This is one of my favorite recipes I found on Instagram. Super soft shokupan bread 🍞 It’s worth the time to make it.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Knead poolish ingredients and dough ingredients until you get 1/2 elastic dough.

* Step 2

Add fat ingredients and knead until you get a silky and super elastic dough.

* Step 3

Let the dough rest and rise for 1-2 hours depending on the room temperature.

* Step 4

Deflate the dough. Divide the dough into 3 portions. Roll out and shape.

* Step 5

Arrange the dough in a 19x10x10cm shokupan pan that has been greased with butter.

* Step 6

Let it rest again for the second time for 1-2 hours depending on the room temperature.

* Step 7

Bake in preheated oven 175C/350F for 30 minutes.
