Ingredient

1 cup

Besan

1 tsp

Sooji

to taste

Salt

1/4 tsp

Ajwain

1 pinch

Haldi powder

1 pinch

Baking soda

As needed

Oil to fry

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix all ingredients and make smooth and firm batter.

* Step 2

Cut bread slices lengthwise.

* Step 3

Heat oil. Dip bread slices in batter and fry it till golden brown and crispy.

* Step 4

Serve hot with ketchup and green chutney.

* Step 5

Enjoy with tea / coffee.
