Soft fluffy whole wheat pancakes

This is a basic recipe of popular American pancakes. They are super easy to prepare and I am sure will be loved by your kids. I have used here whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour to make it healthier. #pancakes #wholewheat

Ingredient

Food ration :

7 servings
1/8 cup

sugar

2 teaspoons

baking powder

1/4 teaspoon

salt

2 cups

milk

1 teaspoon

vanilla extract

1

egg

1 tablespoon

cooking oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix all the ingredients above, in a bowl except the oil for cooking. Whisk the batter well to form a uniform mixture. The batter should be of pouring consistency.

* Step 2

Take a pan, heat it and brush the pan with some cooking oil. Use a ¼ cup or any ladle to pour the batter. This gives pancakes all of same size. Pour the cup/ladle full of batter on the pan and cook it on medium flame. Cook until the top surface forms bubbles.

Flip and repeat on the other side. Serve hot with honey, butter, maple syrup, fresh cream, fruit compote, chopped fruits.
