Cooking instructions

Firstly, assemble all the ingredients required to make Potato Masala for dosa. Steam the potatoes and set it aside to cool. Peel the potatoes. Chop the veggies.

Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and allow it to pop. Add the asafoetida and saute. Add the roasted chana dal and urad dal and saute it till the dals become light brown.

Then add the grated ginger and saute for few seconds. Add the chopped green chillies and curry leaves and saute for few seconds.

Add the chopped onion and saute it till it is lightly golden brown and translucent.

Add the finely chopped green bell pepper and saute till it turns soft. Now add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, kitchen king masala and salt and saute on low flame for few seconds.

Finally, add the steamed and roughly mashed potato and mix it well. Allow it to cook on low flame for few minutes. Turn off the flame.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and mix it well.

Flavorful and Delicious Potato Masala is ready. Serve it with dosa, puri, chapati or rice.
