Spicy Garlic Makhana

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Assemble the required ingredients. Peel the garlic and set it aside.
* Step 2
In a wide pan dry roast the makhanas on low flame for about 8-10 minutes or until they turn crunchy. To check if they are roasted well, crush one makhana. If it breaks with a crunchy sound it means that they are perfectly roasted. Now transfer the roasted makhanas to a plate and set is aside to cool.
* Step 3
In a blender add the garlic, cumin seeds, kashmiri red chilli powder, salt and water and blend to a paste.
* Step 4
Heat a tablespoon of ghee in a kadai. Add the blended paste and curry leaves and cook for 2 minutes.
* Step 5
Now add the roasted makhanas immediately alongwith a tablespoon of ghee. Toss them for about 2 minutes until it is well coated with the spices.
* Step 6
Let the makhanas cool completely.
* Step 7
Spicy Garlic Makanas are ready. Serve it right away or store in an airtight container for later use.
