Kasuri Methi Malai Chicken

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Firstly, wash and drain the chicken pieces. Transfer it to a large mixing bowl. Add all the ingredients mentioned under “For Marination “. Mix until well combined and set aside to marinate for one hour. (Room Temperature).
* Step 2
Heat oil in a non-stick kadai. Add black cardamom, green cardamom, cloves and cinnamon. Next add the chopped onions and saute on medium heat until light brown.
* Step 3
Next add the tomato paste and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
* Step 4
Now add the marinated chicken and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.
* Step 5
Next add the kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder and saute for a minute or two.
* Step 6
Add the cashewnut paste and salt. Mix well and cook on low heat until oil appears at the surface.
* Step 7
Add water and cover and cook on low heat until chicken is tender ie. for about 15 minutes.
* Step 8
When chicken is done, add cream and cook on low heat for about 2 to 3 minutes. Add water, if required, to attain desired consistency.
* Step 9
Add dry roasted kasuri methi and cook for more 2 to 3 minutes.
* Step 10
Creamy and Delicious Kasuri Methi Malai Chicken is ready. Serve it hot with roti, steamed rice and pepper chicken.
