Freezing Fire Roasted Green Bell Peppers
A recipe for future use. You can also do this over a grill fire.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and cut the peppers in half. Remove the seeds and stems. Put 3 halves on a skewer. Flame roast the pepper halves.
* Step 2
Put them into a heat safe bowl. Once cooled down enough put into a Ziploc bag so it won't melt. Here is a tip use a pair of springy pair of thongs to pry the bag opening so the pepper halves can slide in easy. Close the bags to keep the heat in it.
* Step 3
The bag will start shrinking as the peppers cool. Take them out and chop them up. Put on a pan lined with parchment paper single layer. Put into the freezer for 90 minutes. Immediately put into a Ziploc bag and put back into the freezer till you wish to use them. I hope you enjoy!!!
