Oven Roasted Spicy Whole Chicken

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Melt butter in a sauce pan. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, pepper powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, salt. Mix well all ingredients. Keep aside.
* Step 2
Take a baking pan and grease the baking pan with butter. Place the chicken on the baking tray. Use a knife / Fork to poke holes all through the chicken.
* Step 3
Marinate the chicken. Marinate the cavity as well. Cover the marinated chicken with aluminium foil. Put the marinated chicken in fridge and leave the marinated chicken for minimum 3 hours.
* Step 4
Take the chicken out of fridge 1 hour before baking.
* Step 5
Pre-heat Microwave oven at 180 degree C.
* Step 6
Place the chicken in the oven and bake for 45 minutes. (I have added potatoes to the side of the chicken.(optional)). After 45 minutes remove the chicken from oven. Remove the aluminium foil and spoon the juice from the tray on to the chicken. Flip the chicken.
* Step 7
Cover with the aluminium foil again. Place the chicken in the oven and bake for 45 minutes again.
* Step 8
Now remove the chicken from oven, Remove the aluminium foil, spoon the juice over the chicken.
* Step 9
Increase the temperature of the oven to 220 degree C.
* Step 10
Place the chicken in the oven with out covering the aluminium foil. Bake for 20 minutes.
* Step 11
Take the chicken from the oven. Flip the chicken. Spoon the juice over chicken. Bake for final 20 minutes.
* Step 12
Remove the chicken from oven and let it rest for 15 to 30 minutes.
* Step 13
Use a knife and cut into pieces.
* Step 14
Serve with garlic mayonnaise and naan bread.
