Lotus salad

1st time ever make is quite nyummi

Ingredient

2 tbsp

sugar

1 pinch

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Prepare a large big bowl a cold water and few splash vinegar and set aside

* Step 2

Fill large pot water and set to boil, meanwhile peel the lotus root and trimming any brown spot

* Step 3

Cut the lotus root on the cross section wide slices n immediately place into bowl of water vinegar to prevent discoloration

* Step 4

When the water boiling,boil the lotus root an about 4-5 minutes remove and rinse with cold water

* Step 5

In the same manner preboil carrot for 1 minutes

* Step 6

Transfer The lotus root and carrot to large bowl

* Step 7

Mix vinegar sugar to taste add salt,stir to dissolve sugar n salt,then pour over the lotus root and carrot. Mix well and garnish with cilantro green onion basil leave and sprinkle nut on it.enjoy xoxo
