grated ginger

3 tablespoon

yogurt(dahi)

2 Tbsp

1 teaspoon

cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

red chili powder

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1 teaspoon

cumin powder

1 teaspoon

coriander powder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and hing/asafoetida, allow it to pop and add grated ginger and green chili.

* Step 2

Now add finely chopped onion and cook till the onion turn translucent.

Add fresh tomato puree and cook it for 4-5 minutes.

After this add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and mix well.

Add 2-3 tablespoon of fresh dahi/yogurt and cook on medium heat till masala starts to leave sides of the pan.

Season with salt to taste and add cut tinda, stir to coat it with dahi wale masala and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Now add 1.5cup of water and mix everything well.

Cover and cook for 12-13 minutes on medium heat.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Grease the oven based bowl with oil or butter.and sprinkle the flour to avoid stickiness.preheat the oven to 180°c for atleast 10 min.

* Step 2

Seive together ragi flour,wheat flour,salt,baking powder,cocoa powder,in a same bowl add brown sugar,dahi,and butter,sugar,brown sugar.pour milk,curd,vanilla essence,whisk the curd before adding in a bowl.now mix everything well untill combined and smooth.beat the batter consistently.

Now pour the mixture in a cake bowl and bake for 30 to 35 mun.when the cake is done insert a toothpick if it's comes clean then it's done with the baking.cool the cake for 15 min before removing from the rack.and serve cool.

#goldenapron #post16 #reststyle Masala chicken is one of the most simple and easy recipe made in every home. There is many qays which the chicken is made.well i made it with curd as well.by adding a spices along with a sugar. Taste tangy,sweet,and simply delicious,goes well with roti or rice.

Ingredient

1 tsp

butter

2 tsp

oil

1 sprig

curry pata

1 cup

dahi

1 inch

dalchini

1 tsp

vinegar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First marinade the chicken pieces,with some flour,curd,salt,butter,and pepper,and keep aside for1 hr.

Later fry the chicken piece till light brown in colour and keep aside in a plate.

Meanwhile prepare all the ingredients given,dry roast the garlic,dhania seeds,and grinder into a fine paste.for gravy heat the oil in a pan,splutter the cumin seeds, fry the chopped onions,curry leaves,1 inch dalchini,and saute for sometime add 1tsp turmeric powder.Now add the chopped tomatoes puree,vinegar,stir for a min till soft. add all the spices given,like red chillies,ginger garlic paste,and all the masala mentioned,and cook for a while till the gravy become mushy and leave oil.

After awhile add the curd in the tomato gravy and stir properly,and mix well.then add the fried chicken in the gravy.and cook for sometime till it's done add 1tsp sugar or jaggery and stir for a min.this take around 10 min to cook.

Cover the lid and cook for sometime till the gravy is become thick and consistent,in a low flame.later,switch off the garnish and garnish it with fresh coriander leaves. Masala dahi chicken is ready to serve wirh rice.

4 . Curd Rice

2 1/2 cups

water

1/2 cup

milk

1 tsp

sugar

to taste

Salt

1 tbsp

oil

1 tsp

urad dal

1 tsp

kismis

1 tbsp

fried kaju

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Rinse rice in water 2-3 times then add rice and water in pressure cooker and cook for 5-6 whistles

* Step 2

When the pressure settles down on it's own, remove the lid and check the doneness of rice, the rice has to be more softer then what we cook on daily basis

* Step 3

Now using masher mash the rice, let rice cool in room temperature

* Step 4

Once it is cooled add curd mix well,break lumps if any then add milk, salt and combine everything well, now add sugar

* Step 5

Now for tempering

* Step 6

Heat oil in pan add mustard when it crackles add rest Ingredients mentioned below for tempering

* Step 7

Fry for a minute and switch off flame, let temper cool, once cools add to rice mixture and mix everything well

* Step 8

Now remove this in serving bowl and add ingredients for garnishing and keep in refrigerator

* Step 9

Serve chilled

besan

* Step 1

In a large mixing bowl add all the ingredients and add enough water and prepare like chapati dough

Now pinch a medium sized ball dough,roll & flatten it.

Further roll it in a thin circle like chapati

Now on a hot tawa place the rolled thepla and cook for a minute

Once fried nicely from both the sides remove on a plate
