150 grams

mava/khoya

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Grate paneer and keep aside.

* Step 2

Heat a pan, add ghee. Add crumbled/grated mava on low flame. Cook till mava melts.

* Step 3

Add grated paneer and powdered sugar, cook on low flame till the mixture is homogenous. Add cardemom powder too.

* Step 4

Cook till the mixture starts leaving the pan surface.

* Step 5

Take it out in a greased tray, spread evenly. Add pistachio flakes and press gently.

* Step 6

Keep in the fridge for 10 minutes.

* Step 7

Cut into square pieces. Instant kalakand is ready to be served.

* Step 8

Serve with a smile🙂

Ingredient

200 grams

paneer cubes

50 grams

butter

2 tbsp

melon seeds

2 tbsp

fresh cream

2 tbsp

ghee/butter

to taste

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat a pan,add onion and tomato slices. Add cashew, melon seeds and all powdered spices except cardamom powder and garam masala powder.

* Step 2

Add 1/2 cup water and cover the pan. Cook on low-medium flame for 6-7minutes.

* Step 3

Cool and grind the mixture to a smooth paste.Keep aside.

* Step 4

Cut paneer into cubes.Heat butter/ghee in a pan.Shallow fry the paneers like pink.Pour over the onion-spices paste on paneer. Add salt.

* Step 5

Mix with gentle stroke,add cream,mix and cook on low flame for 5 minutes. If required add some water and adjust consistency.

* Step 6

Serve wit naan/parathe.

A Mughlai delicacy,full of aroma and rich cashewnut gravy.

Ingredient

1/2 tsp

mace powder

1/2 cup

yoghurt

150 ml

ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat ghee in a pan,add thinly sliced onion and fry till pink.Do not over fry.Take out,keep aside.

* Step 2

Add all whole garam masala to the ghee.,add chicken and fry till water dries.

* Step 3

Meanwhile gring fried onion with curd.Keep aside.

* Step 4

Now add coriander powder, red chilli powder and ginger garluc paste to the chicken,cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.

* Step 5

Add cashew paste and yoghurt mix,mix well add and add 2 cups of water.Let it be boiled.

* Step 6

When boiled,add salt.Cover the pan and cook on low -medium flame for 15 minutes or till chicken is soft.

* Step 7

Add garam masala powder,mace powder and cardemom powder.Mix Adjust gravy according to your desire.

* Step 8

Cook further for 2 minutes.Put off flame leave for 5 minutes.

* Step 9

Serve with naan/parathe.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil in a pan,add sliced onion.Fry till pink.Take out and keep aside.

Add all whole garam masala to the remaining oil and add chicken.Fry till water of chicken dries.

Meanwhile make a paste of ginger garlic,turmeric powder, chilli powder and coriander powder.

Add this paste to chicken,also add fried anion and salt.

Mix, add magaz powder and 3 cups water. Cover and cook on medium flame for 15 minutes or till chicken is tender.

* Step 6

Add garam masala powder, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder and khoya. Stir well. Adjust gravy as you desire.

Cover the pan and put off flame. Leave for 5 minutes. Serve with naan/paratha.

milk powder

6-7 sheets

silver foil

1 tablespoon

ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat ghee in a pan and roast rice flour till light brown.Add milk powder mix.

* Step 2

Add condenced milk,mix and cook on low flame till ghee separates.Add cardemom powder.

* Step 3

Take out in a bowl and divide into 3 equall portions.Mix cocoa powder in one portion.Make a cylinder like structure and keep aside.

* Step 4

On a butter paper spread other 2 portions.Put another butter paper over it and roll to a 1 c.m thick sheet.

Put chocolate bar over rice flour sheet and roll.Seal both ends of bar and roll tightly.Keep in fridge for 30 minutes and cut into pieces.
