This is a very delicious sweet & looks gorgeous . Serve this amazing dessert to your guests & get compliments everytime.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First mix the clarified butter with the flour. Then add cold water little by little & make a tight dough. Cover it up & keep it aside for 20 minutes.
* Step 2
Now make the mawa stuffing by mixing chopped dry fruits & Cardamom powder with mawa. Keep it aside
* Step 3
After 20 minutes take a tennis ball size portion from the flour dough & roll it down. Now take two round cookies cutters with different dimensions. One should be slightly bigger than the other one. Then cut two different sized discs.
* Step 4
Now take the bigger disc & place 1 teaspoon mawa mix over it then cover it up with the smaller disc. Then seal the edges by folding them evenly.
* Step 5
Now deep fry them in hot oil/ ghee on a medium low flame.
* Step 6
Make some sugar syrup in between by adding Cardamom & saffron to it.
* Step 7
Now place the fried suryakala into the syrup & keep it for an hour. Then decorate & serve.
