Panettone French Toast

I made this after getting the idea from a friend. The results were amazing with everyone wanting seconds.

Ingredient

panettone

2 knobs

butter

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix the eggs and milk together in a shallow bowl.

In a frying pan over a low to medium heat melt the butter.

Soak the panettone slices on each side in the egg mixture.

* Step 4

Add the slices to the hot pan as you go along and fry on each side for 2 minutes.

Mix the cinnamon and sugar together well in a small bowl.

* Step 6

Remove the panettone from the pan and transfer to a bowl.

* Step 7

Sprinkle a tablespoon of the sugar mixture to the slices.

* Step 8

Drizzle with vanilla custard and a scope of vanilla ice cream.

Serve when ready.
