Singapore Style Fish Soup
Skip the fried fish for no-fry option
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Pat room temperature fish with towel until completely dry. Cut in big pieces. Marinade
* Step 3
Heat up pan with a little bit of oil, add garlic and chopped chayote, sautee until fragant
* Step 4
In large pot, bring the water to boil and transfer the garlic and chayote. Add seasonings: salt, sugar, mushroom powder. Bring to boil again
* Step 5
Meanwhile we can fry half of the marinated fish. Dip in the batter and fry in hot oil. Set aside
* Step 6
Add ginger and spring onion to bowl, after its boiling again, add the remaining fish
* Step 7
Add milk, taste, season to taste. Serve with fried fish
