Piro Sadeko Aloo (Potato with Timbur / Schezwan peppercorns)

#toc4 #cookpadindia This is another Nepali style Aloo preperation, goes well as appetizer or as side dish with Rice or Chiwda. My friends loves this so I make for them whenever there's a get together party. Schezwan peppercorns is called Timbur in Nepali and Piro means Spicy ( Chlili heat / Tikha ), Sadeko means marinate or mix masala with something. Hence the name "Piro Sadeko Aloo"! I get my share of Schezwan peppercorns whenever I visit Sikkim, India. Note : In most Nepali style Fresh Achaar preperation, a tempering of Fenugreek seeds/ Methi Dana in Hot Mustard oil/ Thori ko Tel / Sarso Ka Tel is a must...it enhances the flavour and has many health benefits and keeps you warm also in cold weather.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Prepare all ingredients as listed above and put in a bowl. Heat oil in a pan and add Methi/ Fenugreek seeds, when it starts blackening,add all in the bowl in top of the ingredients. Mix well. Check salt and sourness and adjust as per your taste. See Radish recipe too.
