Piro Sadeko Aloo (Potato with Timbur / Schezwan peppercorns)
#toc4 #cookpadindia
This is another Nepali style Aloo preperation, goes well as appetizer or as side dish with Rice or Chiwda.
My friends loves this so I make for them whenever there's a get together party.
Schezwan peppercorns is called Timbur in Nepali and Piro means Spicy ( Chlili heat / Tikha ), Sadeko means marinate or mix masala with something. Hence the name "Piro Sadeko Aloo"!
I get my share of Schezwan peppercorns whenever I visit Sikkim, India.
Note : In most Nepali style Fresh Achaar preperation, a tempering of Fenugreek seeds/ Methi Dana in Hot Mustard oil/ Thori ko Tel / Sarso Ka Tel is a must...it enhances the flavour and has many health benefits and keeps you warm also in cold weather.
