#WS #Week5 #Barleyflour Extremely simple and Healthy and yummy spiced flatbread recipe made with Fenugreek leaves, Barley flour, Rice flour and wheat flour. It hails from the popular Indian cuisine and is consumed for morning breakfast or as a snack items with sides like chutney or simple raita and curry πŸ˜‹ Apart from that it is also popularly known as a travel mate as it can be carried while traveling and can be a filling lunch or dinner meal .....

Ingredient

Cooking time :

25 minutes
1 tbsp

Rice flour

2 tbsp

Wheat flour

1/2 tsp

cumin seeds

1/2 tsp

garam masala

1/4 tsp

ajwain

1 tbsp (flour)

Oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Firstly, finely chop 1 /2 cup methi and take in a large bowl. add Β½ tsp turmeric, Β½ tsp chilli powder, Β½ tsp cumin seeds Β½ tsp garam masala, ΒΌ tsp ajwain, 1 tsp chilli paste, 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tbsp kasuri methi. add 1 tbsp oil and Β½ tsp salt. mix well making sure all the spices are well combined. further add 1 cup Barley flour,wheat flour, rice flour πŸ˜‹ mix well and start to knead the dough. add water as required and knead to smooth dough.

Also add 2 tbsp oil and knead the dough.

Cover the dough and rest for 5 -10 minutes or until the dough has rested well...

Pinch a ball sized dough and dust with flour πŸ˜‹ roll to as thin as possible roll roll all the thepla as it will not take much time to cook.

Now cook the thepla on hot tawa.. flip over and cook both sides spreading oil

Finally Enjoy methi thepla hot or you can pack it in a zip lock bag....
