Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Grate the coconut and keep rest of the ingredients ready.
* Step 2
Next in a pan put ghee. As it is little hot and melted, add the grated coconut. Add salt.
Saute for 2-3 minutes. Keep the heat low.
(Don't saute too much else coconut's moisture totally goes away and your Ladoos will taste dry.)
Next add cardamom sugar powder and mix.
* Step 3
Next add in chopped jaggery. Mix from all sides.
Keep heat slow else jaggery may burn.
Cook till jaggery melts.
Your coconut mixture should look shiny, little soggy and sticky, like Ladoo binding consistency
Switch the flame off.
Let it come to a resistable hotness.
* Step 4
Take small portion from the mixture and bind Chotu Ladoos.
It's ready...
* Step 5
Store in an airtight container.
Consume soon and get ready to make the next lot...
Enjoy!!!
* Step 6
Nb: If you want it "sugar free", then omit addition of sugar cardamom powder.
Instead add 1/2 tsp cardamom powder and increase amount of jaggery as per your taste.
