Egg chowmein (street style)

This dish is a favourite of mine...I still become a kid when it comes to eating chowmein 😄 I always loved the street style egg chowmein...so here's the recipe I'm trying to replicate... it's an indo Chinese type of recipe.. It's yummy...do try.. #mychildhoodrecipe #cookpadindia #chowmein #egg

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pan heat water. Add salt. Add raw noodles. Let it get cooked for 7-9 minutes. As it's done, strain the extra water. Wash under cool water. Put oil and toss mix. These prevents noodles from sticking with each other. Cut the vegetables into thin slices.

* Step 2

Heat a wok with oil. Add onion and saute till onions are brownish.

Next add vegetables, green chillies, salt, black pepper powder, chicken masala. Mix all well. Cook in medium to high flame for that smoky effect. Vegetables must be cooked yet crunchy.

* Step 4

Take sauces and mix in bowl. Use 3/4 th part now. Add into the vegetables. Mix. Keep rest of the sauce mixture for eggs. Add the noodles and mix. Flame must be medium to high. Vegetable chowmein is ready...

* Step 5

Now in a mixing bowl break eggs. Add salt, black pepper powder, chicken masala, sauce mixture. Whip mix. Heat a pan with oil. Put egg mixture.

* Step 6

Now break egg into bhurji types. Add these scrambled eggs into the vegetable chowmein. Mix well...toss mix.

Street style....egg chowmein is ready...I relived my childhood Serve immediately...hot hot...
