Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and clean the starfruits, scrape the rims, chop both ends, and cut into one inch pieces.
* Step 2
Boil in microwave for 2minutes to make the pieces softer.
* Step 3
Take oil and ghee in a pan and heat on low flame.
* Step 4
Add mustard seeds, urad daal, curry leaves and hing and saute till mustard seeds splutter.
* Step 5
Add the green chilli and saute for a while. Mix chopped and boiled star fruits, add salt, turmeric and kashmiri red chilli powder and mix well.
* Step 6
Further add grated coconut and sugar (or jaggery) to the mix. Add 3/4 cup of water. After mixing everything cover and cook for 2 minutes.
* Step 8
When the gravy thickens add roasted cumin powder. and arnish with coriander leaves before serving.
