Moong dal and Onion Leaves Curry

#YCR #FoodTalking Onion leaves and dal curry is a favourite and delicious curry and it's a traditional dish from my mother's house. No need to go for the nutrition, as everyone knows.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Pressure cook soaked moong dal and chopped onion leaves for one whistle.

* Step 2

Heat oil, add mustard seeds and allow to crackle. Add chopped green chilli, garlic. After saute garlic, add onion and fry till golden brown

* Step 3

Add chopped potatoes, tomato, turmeric and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.

* Step 4

Add boiled dal and onion leaves and mix well. Cook on high flame till the remaining amount of water is evaporated. Serve the delicious curry with Poori/Parathas.
