Gooseberry and strawberry non-jam
Using gooseberries usually means using a lot of sugar as they are pretty tart. I thought heating them and combining with strawberries might bring out the sweetness ... but it still needed the maple syrup!
It’s lovely with some yogurt or chia pudding. I think i’d try to make a chia jam with it too like this one https://cookpad.com/uk/recipes/7931957-raspberry-chia-not-jam-vegan so it would be good on toast too 🍓

Put everything in a pan. Cook on a low- medium heat until the fruit is soft.
