Moong dal khichdi

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil in cooker, add cumin seeds and green chilli, after few seconds add onions,fry it till colour change

* Step 2

Add tomatoes and ginger garlic paste, then add salt, red chilli powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder,black pepper and fry it well.

* Step 3

Then add moong dal and two cup water and boil it for 5-10 minutes on medium to low flame

* Step 4

Now add rice and 3-4 cup water in cooker, and cover the cooker.

* Step 5

Cook it for 5-10 minutes on high to low flame.

* Step 6

Khichdi is ready to serve with curd,pickle and ketchup as per your taste.
