How about some fruity yet healthy dessert to go with your regular meals which will make the young ones happy! These Jaggery caramel pears are just that! You can't have just one piece..they are finished in no time. Made with a caramel sauce of jaggery and juicy pears, this recipe is beyond easy and a must try!

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, wash and dry the pears. Slice them in 1"thick slices. Apply salt on the slices to avoid browning
* Step 2
Melt jaggery along with a tsp of water in a saucepan on low flame. Mix in cardamom powder.
* Step 3
When jaggery melts arrange the slices in the syrup and let it simmer tull reaches a thick texture. Turn off flame.
* Step 4
Make sure all the slices are coated well. Arrange them in a plate. (I couldn't take a picture of the syrup so just posting the leftover syrup in pan after pouring)
* Step 5
Top with crushed nuts or praline or cake sprinkles for a crunchy and fun effect.
* Step 6
Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours and then enjoy!
