Diwali feast is incomplete without Besan Laddu. Made with chickpea flour roasted to aromatic perfection , mixed with powdered sugar, cardamom and nuts then rolled in round balls ! The result is a heavenly sweet which gets over at the same time it is made. In Maharashtra, they are called Besanache Laddu. Just make them and enjoy!

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, heat ghee in a kadhai. Add besan and slow roast it while stirring constantly. This will take around 8 to 10 minutes.
* Step 2
Then sprinkle the hot kesar milk and keep stirring till the milk is absorbed. You can add more if needed. Now the mixture will look moist. Remove from heat and rest on kitchen counter.
* Step 3
Add chopped nuts and cardamom powder and stir well. Add the powdered sugar and mix well. When sugar and besan are combined well,take small portions of the mix in hand and roll into laddu shapes.
* Step 4
Make all laddus similarly. Add a spoon full of melted ghee to the mix if it gets dry.
* Step 5
Arrange in decorative thali. Your laddus are readdy to be offered as bhog/ naivedya to the divine deities and enjoyed by all as delicious Diwali prasad !
