Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat oil in a heavy bottomed vessel.Add cumin seeds and red chillies.Fry for 10 seconds on low flame.
* Step 2
Add chopped onion,fry till golden.Add ginger garlic paste and add 1 tbsp water.Cook for 1 minute.
* Step 3
Blend curd and besan in a bowl.Add 1 cup water and blend well.Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder and garam masala powder.Mix well.
* Step 4
Add this mixture to the vessel, add 2 cups water,stir continuosly to avoid lumping.Add salt.
* Step 5
Stir till boiling,now simmer the flame and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.Partialy cover the lid of vessel.
* Step 6
After 20-25 minutes,kadhi is thick.Put off flame.
* Step 7
Serve hot with roti/rice.
