Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak rice for 1hr, wash it, keep aside. Take a deep bottom pan, add good amount of water, 1/2 tsp salt & 1 tsp oil, boil it. Add in rice, cook it till 90% done. Strain it, put under running water for 30 sec. Take out in a bowl, keep aside.
* Step 2
Take a wok or pan, add oil, heat it. In goes tejpatta & dalchini, saute it for 10 sec. Add in hing & zeera, let it splutter.
* Step 3
Now add garlic, saute it until light brown. In goes dry red chilli & onion, stir fry it until light brown.
* Step 4
Now add amaranth leaves & salt, stir fry it until almost cooked.
* Step 5
In goes cooked rice, mix it well. Add in red chilli powder & garam masala powder, stir fry it for 2 minutes.
* Step 6
Turn off the flame, take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta..
