A very simple one pot meal , infused with Saffron..

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash rice, soak in water for 1 hour. Strain it, keep aside.
* Step 2
Take a pan, add 2 tbsp ghee, heat it. Fry all the dry fruits until light brown, keep aside.
* Step 3
Take a deep bottom pan, add rest of the ghee, heat it.
* Step 4
Add whole garam masala, saute it for a sec.
* Step 5
Now add zeera, let it splutter.
* Step 6
Take 1/4 part of onion, add in the masala, stir fry it until brown.
* Step 7
Fry rest of the onions in ghee separately. Keep aside.
* Step 8
Add dry red chilli, saute it for a sec.
* Step 9
Now add ginger garlic paste, saute it until rawness is released.
* Step 10
Meanwhile lukewarm the milk, soak saffron strands, keep aside.
* Step 11
Add rice now, stir fry it until grains are separated.
* Step 12
Now add 3.5 cup water, also add salt, give a stir.
* Step 13
Let it boil, lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until water is absorbed.
* Step 14
Open the lid, add saffron milk, dry fruits & few brown onions, do not mix it.
* Step 15
Cover it again, cook it until done. Do not stir in between.
* Step 16
Turn off the flame, open the lid after 10 minutes.
* Step 17
Take out in a serving dish, garnish it with chopped dhania patta, green chilli slitted & rest of the brown onion.
* Step 18
Can be served along with any Raita..
