Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take a mixing bowl, add paneer pcs. Now add all the given ingredients of marination except salt, mix it well. Rest it for 15 minutes.

Add salt now, take a pan, add 3 tbsp oil, heat it. Shallow fry paneer pcs until light pink, take out in a bowl, keep aside.

Now take another pan, add all the given ingredients of gravy. Add 3/4 cup water, boil it till onion is almost cooked.

Strain it, cool it, grind it to a fine paste, keep aside.

Take a wok or deep bottom pan, add oil & butter, heat it. Add black pepper, saute it for a sec.

Add gravy paste now, give a stir. In goes dahi & rest of the marinade. Stir fry it for a minute.

Add 1/2 cup water, mix it well. Give a boil. Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until oil has oozed out.

Open the lid, increase the flame, add fried paneer, give a stir. Add 1 cup water, mix it well, give a boil.

Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until gravy becomes saucy.

Turn off the flame, open the lid after 10 minutes.

* Step 11

Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with black pepper powder & chopped dhania patta.

Can be served along with Tandoori Roti, Naan or Lachcha Paratha..
