Carrot halwa is a carrot based sweet dessert pudding from punjab . It is made by placing carrots in a specific amount of water , milk , sugar , cardamom and then cooking while stirring regularly. This is delicious and yummy recipe. Here is a carrot halwa recipe.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and peel the carrot well. Grate with a food processor. use the fine grater.
* Step 2
Take a pressure cooker add in grated carrot and add 1/2 cup water close the lid and pressure cook for 4 whistles. Then turn off the flame
* Step 3
Next, take a heavy bottom nonstick pan to add cooked carrot and add milk mix it well. Cover and cook few minutes.
* Step 4
Then add cardamom seed, chenna, condensed milk, sugar, and salt mix well and continue to cook on medium heat.
* Step 5
You will see the carrot begin to release moisture.
* Step 6
Then add 2 tbsp ghee mix it well and sauté until a nice aroma comes out.
* Step 7
When the milk evaporates turn it off. Garnish with chopped cashew, almond, and grapes.
* Step 8
Serve carrot halwa hot or chill enjoy.
