Rava uttapam is a instant Indian breakfast recipe made with semolina, onion, chili and curd or yogurt. The batter does not need any fermentation and these are quick to make. Rava uttapam is served with a chutney, podi or sambar.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash, peel and chop the vegetable toppings by taking 1 onion, ½ capsicum and 1 tomato. Add 2 tbsp coriander, 2chilli and ¼ tsp salt. Mix well making sure everything is well combined.
* Step 2
In a large bowl take 1 cup rava, ½ cup curd and ¾ tsp salt. Mix well making sure the curd is combined well. Now add ½ cup water and mix well adjusting consistency. Keep aside for 20 minutes or until the rava absorbs well. After 20 minutes check for consistency add more water if required.
* Step 3
Now heat a griddle. Grease it with few drops of cooking Oil and now pour the rava batter on it into small uttapam. Top with a tbsp of prepared toppings and press gently. Sprinkle red idli powder over it. Pour 1 tsp oil around the uttapam
* Step 4
Cover and cook for 2 minutes or until the base is cooked well. Flip over and cook both sides.
* Step 5
Serve hot instant rava uttapam with tomato sauce or coconut chutney.
