Cooking instructions
* Step 1
To begin making the Dhaba Style Rice Recipe, heat ghee in a kadai over liw heat. Once hot, add in the bay leaf, cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves, star anise, cinnamon sticks, peppercorns, and curry leaves.
* Step 2
Stir for a few seconds until you can smell the aromas coming through.
* Step 3
Once done add the washed rice, along with 1-1/2 cups of water and salt to to taste. Cover the lid on kadai,mix it well and cook it on medium flame till it bring it to the boiling point.
* Step 4
Once start boiling and you start seeing slightly cooked grain, cover it with lid and cook on low flame for 5 mins, check in while between cooking.

Now dhaba style rice is ready to serve n garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
