Cooking instructions

* Step 1

To begin making the Dhaba Style Rice Recipe, heat ghee in a kadai over liw heat. Once hot, add in the bay leaf, cumin seeds, cardamom, cloves, star anise, cinnamon sticks, peppercorns, and curry leaves.

Stir for a few seconds until you can smell the aromas coming through.

* Step 3

Once done add the washed rice, along with 1-1/2 cups of water and salt to to taste. Cover the lid on kadai,mix it well and cook it on medium flame till it bring it to the boiling point.

Once start boiling and you start seeing slightly cooked grain, cover it with lid and cook on low flame for 5 mins, check in while between cooking. 6. Once all water evaporates, and top grain look fluffy, switch of the flame and cov

Now dhaba style rice is ready to serve n garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
